The Sketch Challenge on the Next Level this week was to make a card with 3-d image. I used SU c/s and Basic Grey pp (Porcelian collection) - the Butterfly stamp is made by The Artful Stamper. PCP Sketch Challenge - July 19 2009

I made this card for the Sketch Challenge on PCP. I am also going to send it to a friend of mine whose birthday is this week. I used SU c/s and Porcelain pp by Basic Grey. The stamp is used is from Stampin' Up. The inks are by Nick Bantock. I also used the cuttlebug on the background circle.

The Next Level - Sketch Challenge No. 2

The challenge on the Next Level was a sketch this week which I really enjoy doing. I used SU c/s and Bohemia pp. The stamp is made by Paper Bag Studios.

Christmas all Year Long (White Christmas) Challenge

What a great challenge. I blended the silver with the white to add some contrast. I found it difficult to photograph with the silver embossing. I used SU c/s, The second layer I embossed with the Cuttlebug and the stamp is SU. "May the Wonder and Peace of Christmas be yours.

PCP Sketch Challenge 06/13/08

Another beautiful day in the City. This card was made for the sketch challenge on The Planet this Saturday. Materials used: SU c/s, DCWV pp and the Rose stamp by SU. I used Distress Inks and Nick Bantock. I added some stickles for some sparkle.

Cruise Ship

First cruise ship (Carnival Triumph) of the season came into Saint John Port today. I took this from my office window. It was such a gorgeous day here today.

The Next Level Challenge

A wonderful new blog has started up with a great challenge this week -The Next Level- The challege this week is to make an Aperture/Cut out Card - Along with the challenge the card must have out own hand made faux Prima Lollipop flower on it. I have never made a flower like this before but it was fun to do. I am sure I'll make more of these.

This card covers two challenges on the Planet this week.  The Sketch Challenged posted today and the PCP Color Challenge - using the colors old olive, certainly celery, so saffron and whisper white.  The stamp is made by Hero Arts and I colored it with copic markers and watercolors. For a bit of bling I used stickles on the folowers.  

OCC Challenge

On OCC this week the challenge is "it's all about sentiments" - I love this stamp set from Tim Holtz. I used SU c/s, BG pp and distressed ink then added Glossy Accents to the clock face. Hope everyone is having a lovely week.

PCP Sketch Challenge - May 23, 2009

This is my card for the Sketch Challenge on PCP for this week. I used SU for the base card and then added Paper from the Basic Grey Porcelain Collection. I added a chipboard flower to the star.

My youngest grandaughter turns 5 the 28th of this month. I made this card for her. I love the Whiff of Joy stamp. I used Bazzill c/s and Basic Grey pp. I colored the image with copic markers and water colors then added stickles for some sparkle. I am going to Moncton tomorrow to visit my daughter and spend some time with my grandchildren.
